New Ford Fiesta

Ford’s new compact family car using the name Fiesta in the world, the company approveed today. Designed and developed in Europe for customers in Europe, Asia, South Africa, Australia and the Americas between 2008 and 2010, the new Fiesta is the first major product of the new Ford product development process overall. The Fiesta was also offered in the United States from 1978 to 1980.

“The new Ford Fiesta captures all aspects of what is defined as a leader Ford small cars in Europe and relies on it in terms of driving dynamics and design,” said Mark Fields, president of the Americas, Ford Motor Company. “When he arrived in North America in 2010, the Ford Fiesta will launch a new standard in the compact car segment. In Europe, the new Fiesta will start first in the production as a pretext for the 2008 Geneva Motor Show in March and will go on sale in fall 2008 in three and five-door hatchback body types.
