Lancia presented in Geneva, perhaps, its most important car in the past few years. The Italians have decided to revive the legendary Delta mode limousinel, which at one time won six times on the world rally championship. Apparently, Lancia Delta is the last chance to help the company to become eventually profitable.
However, despite the old name, there is some doubt that the new Delta will become a favorite of fans of sports cars. Just Delta does not look sports car. Beautiful - yes, glamorous – again yes (limousine). But not sports. Yet this machine deserves attention. In the "C" segment, where it will serve, Lancia Delta will be the most stylish car with a lot of interesting design solutions.
On the technical side, the Lancia Delta will not surprise. Indeed, this model of limousine is built on the basis of the standard Fiat Bravo, which Delta will receive not only the undercarriage and the steering, but engines. They will be several. The most modest gasoline will be 1.4 - liter turbo unit (120 hp or 150 hp), in a company which turbocharged motor volume of 1.8 liters (it will later be issued 200 hp). Among diesels there will be: 1.6 liters (120 hp), 2.0 liters (165 hp) and 1.9 liters (190 hp).
