Lexus in Geneva - 2 news

Lexus introduced in Geneva two new limousine models. The most important has become the premiere European roadster version LF-A, which will soon go into serial production. This machine has been created on the basis of the earlier coupe LF-A. From a technical standpoint roadster is not different from the coupe - the limousine have still a V10 engine volume of 5.0 liters (500 hp). This power unit is based 10-cylinder engine, which Toyota has used the year before last in the Formula-1. But the company was LF-A model of IS-F. This is the most powerful and fastest version of sedan Lexus IS. "Smart" car with a V8 engine volume of 5.0 liters (423 hp) will compete with the BMW M3 and the Audi RS4. And Lexus engineers assure that the rivalry with such renowned limousine competitors will help them not only driving force, but also a new undercarriage. Lexus dealer showrooms in the most powerful version IS already received in April this year. Prices have not been communicated.
