We are not a fan of Ford brand, but to note - is the third consecutive Motor Show Ford cars were the main premiere. Last year in Geneva demonstrated a new Ford Mondeo, in September in Frankfurt concept crossover hit Kuga and restyled Focus. So in spring of 2008, the company introduced two serial model, which we will super hits. This crossover Kuga (it has already begun to produce) and the long-awaited new generation Fiesta.
By the way, not so long ago were all confident that the new Fiesta called a different name - Verve. But in the leadership of Ford decided to not touch the old name, which was used for more than 30 years.
And if the name of the machine is old, it's a whole new design! To be honest, no one expected that Ford decided to start serial production car with such avant-garde appearance. The car really looks very modern and sports. Salon too good. What bundling Fiesta will get to the Russian market is difficult to tell, but in Europe, this model would have a huge number of features, including airbag to protect the knees! Earlier in the cars this size it is not intended.
What will the new Fiesta under the hood? The car will receive three gasoline motor: 1.3 liters (60 hp or 80 hp), 1.4 liters (91 hp) and 1.6 liters (115 hp). Plus, this will be two diesels: 1.4 liters (68 hp) and 1.6 liters (90 hp). Boxes of two transmissions - "mechanics" or "traditional" machine.
